A work in progress!

So what do you think? I have just spent the last week recovering my old lounge suite and this is the final product! Rocks don't you think!! We just love it modern and really tells everyone who we are! It was so amazing everything just fell into place. I went to Spotlight thinking I would just get a metre of fabric and see what I could do with it (I knew I wanted to recover the couches but didn't have the money as I knew it would be really expensive!) and maybe do a pillow a week etc and to my surprise the fabric that I wanted was not on special but they had 20% off everything, so being the artist that I am I decided to do the cheaper fabric as the base ( the leopard) and the zebra as the contrast! So I asked to put some material on hold and pay it off. The assistant tells me what a bargain I am making as the material was now reduced to $8.00 then less 20%! You can't tell me that was not meant to be! And tada!! It just Rocks!!!!

This was my first attempt at the "double decker matchbox draws"  Cynthia has a ustream on how to make it from scratch at LSH (Little scrap of Heaven) and they are so easy and fun to make and you can fill the draws with other creations! Such a great gift for someone and a neat way to start in this type of medium?

Zoe showing off a captured fairy I did for a swap of LSH. My swap buddy was Debbie Rice and I hope she likes them they were my 2nd captured fairies and they are very addictive! I am madly trying to find old postcards I had reprinted as they would look so great done in this medium! Lots of fun for anyone wanting to just have fun and great to use up the used bottles.
